A little rolling ball with a squeaking mouse in it. Great idea. My cat enjoys the other squeaking mice toys from this brand. Seemed like a fine toy.

Except if the mouse lands in certain positions it won’t stop squeaking. ever. That is to say, any position. Except on it’s left side, then and only then it will shut up.

Once my cat is done playing with it she will walk away and it will continue to emit its cute little squeaking sound. Until the end of time. (a rough guess at the battery life for this type of toy)

The description says “Mental and physical stimulation”. Yes – Indeed! Mentally challenging for me when I am awakened at 2am to hunt it down. And once found, my sleep-addled brain has then to figure out just what position to set it down in so it will shut up. I assume that the physical challenge part comes in when I have to physically resist the urge to pound it into dust.

Except for the whole ‘drives humans insane’ thing, its a fine cat toy. If you decide to roll the dice, keep in mind that I may have received a defective mouse. My toy is going back to the store, to drive the humans there crazy.
