Dog day care approved for night lodging
Two Midland women won Planning & Zoning Commission approval Monday to add overnight boarding to their Animal Clips & Doggie Gym dogs’ day care center in the Old Town Shopping Center at 325 Dodson St.

Pets of the Week
The pets of the week are Bear, a male St. Bernard/mastiff mix in cage D15, and Milly, a tricolored, female cat in cage C42. The Animal Care and Adoption Center of Texarkana, Ark., has 76 dogs, 10 puppies, 35 cats and 34 kittens for adoption, said a shelter official.
