Almost every song on this album makes a comparison to the psycological control that is exercised by the military industrial complex and the effects of drug addiction. The corporations/familys/governments pulling the strings are very dangerous because thay have the ability to control mass minds through hypnosis(media). the meaning is ambivilent. the thirteenth step is meant to be a double entendre.

it’s funny how every single a perfect circle song has arguments on it and the people who say the stupid ignorant shit always seem to be defeated.

The again, who are YOU to tell somebody what to do? What if he/she likes this song because he/she thinks it sounds good? You can’t just ORDER somebody to write down his or her thoughts… Shouting at people because the song has deep philosophical thoughts, while they just want to listen to it will make you you just as corrupt, taint and overtaking like those who this song mentions!
Then again, who am I to tell people?

The debate is what challenges us to evolve. Arguing is wrong only when it isn’t communication. Growth can happen in conflict but only when we are able to know in our humility that we may be wrong and are willing to validate the other. It isn’t arguing that is wrong it’s the refusal to even consider that the other may be right. Dogmatic thinking is what is wrong with our society. So many insecure persons unwilling to consider that we are all, in some ways, flawed.
