Hurley and family adapt

UCSC study: Algae-spawned toxin blamed in sea otter deaths
SANTA CRUZ – Scientists from UC Santa Cruz and the state Department of Fish and Game believe they have traced at least 21 recent California sea otter deaths to a poison produced by algae building up in freshwater sources that drain into the ocean.
