The following pet friendly hotels in Niagara differ in price, location and restrictions.
Sheraton On The Falls- Dogs are welcome at this pet friendly hotel. However, you are not permitted to take your dog into the hotel’s public areas such as restaurants or walkways that link the hotel to Casino Niagara or attached shopping venues. As well, you will need to take an elevator with your pet to access the outside so your room floor and how often your dog is accustomed to going outside should be considered. On the plus side, Sheraton On The Falls is in a superior pet friendly location! It is right beside the parkland surrounding the falls and directly across the road from Oakes Garden Theatre, a beautiful ‘beauxart’ park space that you will want to spend time in anyhow. Glengate Hotel- This hotel may give you a slightly less expensive rate than some of the upper-end chain hotels. This is largely due to their proximity to the centre of the action. On Stanley Avenue, The Glengate Hotel is a few blocks walk to the Ferry St. tourist district. Directly behind the hotel is one of the older residential districts in Niagara Falls so if you prefer a less hectic area to walk your pet, this is appealing. They also offer spacious balcony space. Just across the four way stop at Stanley and the QEW (less than five minute stroll) you will find a Tim Horton’s coffee shop that not only offers great reasonably priced small breakfasts and meals along with the best coffee in Canada, but also treats your pooch to a dog biscuit.

Country Side Bed & Breakfast- I have included this selection in the event that you are looking to really cater to your pet during the course of your vacation in Niagara. Bed and breakfasts are numerous along the Niagara Parkway in both Niagara Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake. Many are pet friendly, such as the Country Side Bed & Breakfast. It is located half way between Niagara Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake in the farm and fruit-belt country of Niagara. The scenery is phenomenal and the walking trails on the Parkway are an attraction in themselves. The view is of beautiful Lake Ontario and is certainly a dog walker’s paradise.
